Dawn Cotter-Jenkins

Dawn Cotter-Jenkins is the CIO and President of World Class Speech Services (www.wcspeech.com ). She has worked across the lifespan from early intervention to adults, but her areas of specialty include telepractice training and development, and professional speech and communication. She has taught for many years at colleges and universities in New York, culminating in her role as the Clinical Director at Mercy University. She expanded her scope of work with certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) strategies. Dawn has presented on various topics for the New York State Speech-Language-Hearing Assoc., National Student Speech Language Hearing Assoc., National Black Association of Speech Language and Hearing, and Westchester Speech Hearing and Language Assoc., co-presented to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Student To Empowered Professional program, among others. Her volunteer work includes co-chairperson of the Telepractice topic committee for the ASHA 2024 convention, serving as an ASHA and NBASLH mentor, serving on the NY Professional Licensing Board, NYSSLHA committees, and the Media Strategy committee of Council on Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders. In her spare time, she has been the speech coach for TEDx Deer Park since 2016. She hosted a LinkedIn Live vid-cast called DEI Speech IQ.
