Katie Schwartz

Katie Schwartz, CCC-SLP is the founder of Corspan. She believes firmly that SLPs have a lot to contribute to workplace communication. Schwartz received her BA in 1977 from Northwestern University and her MA from Vanderbilt U in 1979. She has worked in medical, rehab and educational settings but her preferred setting is in corporate speech pathology. I love the variety of challenges, and the wide variety of industries my clients come from! Schwartz continues her work as the director of Business Speech Improvement in Durham NC and as a Communication coach for Better Up, a  world wide business coaching company.. Schwartz is the author of 5 books, including Talking on the Job: the World of Corporate Speech Pathology, Sound Stories for Adults (revised), published by Alimed.com, Alternative Career Options for Speech-Language Pathologists (Business Speech Improvement), Words of Wisdom, Nuggets of Knowledge (written for her children on going to college and becoming adults)
